McLurg School Community Council
The McLurg School Community Council (MSCC) would like to welcome all new families and staff to McLurg and welcome back those returning for the 2020/2021 school year.
The MSCC consists of volunteer parents & caregivers who work together with the school administrators to discuss school related topics and events. Those who are interested are welcome to join us during our monthly meetings or follow along for updates in the school newsletter or on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/MSCCpage.
Strategy to Reduce Virus Spread
August 28, 2020 -- Regina Public Schools is implementing a three-part strategy to reduce the risk of COVID-19, as well as other viruses, including colds and flu, as students return to school and the colder fall and winter weather sets in.

School Re-Opening Update
August 17, 2020 -- Update for school families about the return to school
Following a Facebook announcement by the Premier of Saskatchewan on Saturday, August 15, 2020, school classes for students will not resume until Tuesday, September, 8th.
More details and updates will be shared by your school division, when they are available. Thank you for your patience.

Dear Families,
As a very unique school year is winding down, there are a few dates and information that I would like to share with you.
From June 15th - June 25th teachers will be contacting families to have exit conversations. Your teacher will provide more information about these conversations in the coming days.
During the afternoon of June 23rd there will be an opportunity for new kindergarten families to pick up an information package. Packages can be picked up between 1:00pm - 3:30pm.
