COVID Case Identified, School Remains Open

March 4, 2021 – the Saskatchewan Health Authority informed us that there were two cases of COVID-19 at McLurg School. Close contacts have been called.

The school remains open. Letters were sent to all school families on Thursday, March 4, 2021 and remote learning will begin for affected students.

If there are any additional close contacts identified at the school, they will be contacted directly by Public Health. A close contact is someone who has been within two metres (six feet) of someone for a cumulative 15 minutes.

Student Citizenship Awards

FEBRUARY 26, 2021 -- Public Schools of Saskatchewan will be recognizing public school student groups or classes that support citizenship or character building within their schools or community by providing annual Student Citizenship Awards. Student groups or classes at elementary and high school will be recognized for their contributions. There will be three $1,000 awards for Grades 1 to 8 and three $1,000 awards for Grades 9 to 12.
